It is surprising to those who work extra hard in the gym how people who walk only an hour a day are able to lose more weight than them.

In fact, I gave up my gym membership a few years back when I was diagnosed with A-Fib…probably not a good move at the time as I ballooned up to 222 pounds. At 5′ 10″, that gave me a body mass index that put me into the obese category. Walking was difficult without stopping for breath.
