Change Your Lifestyle And Lose Weight
These days, people who want to shed unwanted pounds aren’t committing to ambitious workouts or restrictive diets. Lifestyle is the new watchword.
Have you been counting your calories, but not seeing results that make the effort worthwhile?
Perhaps you spend so many hours in a gym that you could drop on the spot. Most of all, stop fretting over watching your weight refuse to budge despite all the dietary changes you make and all the exercise you do.
Most people try fad diets at one time or another, even though they do not produce the desired results. The idea that exercising will magically burn fat away is gradually fading, despite the
The idea that exercising will magically burn fat away is gradually fading despite the fact that, exercise is necessary for maintaining your health. Many studies have shown that the best way to lose weight is making a major change in lifestyle.
A lot of people that have tried doing this can lose 60 or more pounds and are able to keep that weight away as well.
This is the way they did it.
1. Eating sensibly.
Calories are really not that hard to understand. It all comes down to eating less than you are using. If you hate counting calories, make healthier food choices so that you don’t have to.
Don’t eat portions that are too large and start to put lean proteins, vegetables, whole grains, and also fruits into what you eat each day.
Our NatraLife Get Lean! program can provide you with the guidance that you need as well as a community of like-minded individuals that will assist you in achieving your goals.
Check out my NatraLife site here and then drop me an email with your mailing address, and I’ll mail you a FREE booklet explaining the program with recipes, eating plan, and weight loss tips – 24 pages in all including a Q&A section.
2. Exercise realistically.
It is surprising to those who work extra hard in the gym how people who walk only an hour a day are able to lose more weight than them.
This is what you should know. They do not become members of the gym, buy expensive equipment or engage in reps that are painful. They walk consistently, every day and it adds up to success.
In fact, I gave up my gym membership a few years back when I was diagnosed with A-Fib…probably not a good move at the time as I ballooned up to 222 pounds. At 5′ 10″, that gave me a body mass index that put me into the obese category. Walking was difficult without stopping for breath.
I started the NatraLife Get Lean! program as of the date of this writing just about 30 days ago after reading several articles on the dangers of “belly fat” – at 74 years of age, I am not finished doing what I need to do – and have dropped 16 pounds to date and more importantly, am showing significant loss of belly fat.
Now at my age, my metabolism has slowed, but you know what? I am proof that you are never too old to change. Imagine the results if I was younger! Oh, and guess what? For exercise, all I do is walk…but I do it every day!
3. Get yourself supported.
Having others around who are supportive is one of the keys to losing weight.
If you start to surround yourself with those that always want to eat junk and don’t like to care for their weight at all then you are more likely not to do well with your weight loss.
4) Sleep better.
If you do not get the sleep your body needs, then your body will not produce enough insulin. Without the right levels of insulin, your body cannot keep your appetite under control.
If you are not getting enough sleep, you are more than likely going to make very bad decisions when it comes to your daily diet. Insulin regulates your metabolism, so when you get proper sleep you also have the energy to stick to your daily exercise routine.
5. Keeping track of how things are going.
An effective way to reach your weight loss objectives, one of the most notable known to science, is to keep a personal journal.
When you keep track of what you eat and how often you exercise, it can help you to have more success overall. The habit of documenting progress, keeps you constantly in check with your daily habits, clearly showing what works for you, and what definitely does not work.
Keeping track of your progress can also help you to note problem times or other negative influences on your progress. If you are not sure about the essential value related to writing down what you consume, be mindful that individuals who have recorded their eating habits regularly, lose twice the amount of weight compared to people who don’t. Try the journal for a while, and see the truth about your eating habits.
